What Is the Procedure for Applying Porcelain Veneers?
You’ll be happy to know that the porcelain veneering process can be applied to a single tooth or several teeth quickly and efficiently. Our experienced dental team will ensure that veneers are the right choice for your unique needs as well as take X-rays if needed, and during the process, impressions may also be taken of the teeth and mouth to ensure a proper fitting. After assuring your comfort, we will remove about ½ of a millimeter of enamel from the tooth surface, which is roughly the thickness of the veneer to be applied. Next, we will make an impression of the tooth. The impression is then sent out to a dental lab that constructs the actual veneer. Within two weeks, your custom-crafted veneers will be completed and returned to our offices.
